Description :

RFramer developed shell and core framing models for many commercial towers of which two are showcased here. Both projects needed models with critical, typical framing members, coordination to MEPFS, soffit, bulkheads, ceiling GYP, ACT and shaft framing. RFramer used BIM Track, Bluebeam studio and BIM360 tools to coordinate and to raise or clear RFIs.

Framing model was developed in phases where initial phase was using rough templates which populated worst case framing members for all panels and openings. This would allow framer to claim space in coordination and intern avoid simple clashes of trades with jamb / king studs. Later in next phase actual framing members as per actual details will be adjusted.

Framing included furring around core walls, light cove conditions in ceilings and structural coordination to brace frames. Few complex opening conditions were manually adjusted to the requirement as MWF could not resolve the clash openings of diagonal brace frames and MEPF openings in the same panel.
