RFramer provided interior and exterior framing modeling and construction drawing services for corporate office headquarters which can be considered as few of the most pretentious projects. Modeling for these projects was LOD 450 level. This includes all critical, typical framing, MEPFS coordination, bulkheads, kickers, soffit and parapets along with the walls supporting the inclined roof of the building. Coordination drawings were produced for the field to construct panels on site.
A Design Bid Build contract, faced with many challenges in constructing. Scope of work was to develop design intent interior framing model and develop construction drawings set. To handle the sheer size of the project and arc-ed shaped spaces, the project was divided into sectors. No two sectors were same and huge project area made Revit files heavy. Hence every part was modeled in different file and linked into a master file.
RFramer used the capabilities of BIM to coordinate with concrete, steel and millwork at custom fit-out areas and transitional sectors. RFramer also used the “compare” option of softwares to leverage and quickly differentiate the new updates before receiving the revision list. RFramer produced drawings similar to architecture set with layered information for framing showing wall types, layout dimensions, soffit and shaft locations.
