Description :

This is RFramer’s pilot project. RFramer provided interior and exterior modeling and design intent framing for the hospital campus covering out patient, in patient, diagnostic & treatment, transitional living & rehabilitation buildings. RFramer also modeled the Concourse block which connects all buildings as a spine for the campus.

RFramer was first to pickup all the hanging shaft locations according to slab openings and trade drawings. This helped the project to prioritize the occupancy of shafts and reduced coordination around shafts. RFramer developed and implemented the first API which can create templates which can be used by MWF to generate exterior panel drawings. This helped us to reduce the process of making a single panel template from 30 to 2 mins.

RFramer modeled framing in three passes. First pass had all critical studs namely end studs, jambs and opening tracks. Second pass contains of soffits and all horizontal tracks. Last pass had on center studs and all remaining framing members. This process of delivering critical members first helped in identifying issues quickly and made BIM process effective.
