While not ideal, we can develop Architectural models from 2D PDFs or 2D CADs and use it as the first step in the development of a framing model. But this process will take more time to make framing updates when there are design changes. It is best if we receive the Architectural design intent Revit model so framing can have a quick turnaround.
When clients become confident in our deliverable, we can upload files directly to client’s websites if desired or make available in various ways for effective client review.
We will create MEPF overlays on architectural plans to quickly identify and document priority walls so that they can be sequenced first to avoid construct-ability issues in the field.
We will identify walls requiring Z-clip attachments and model them for accurate material take-off based on actual fireproofing thicknesses, and ensure these conditions are accurately reflected in shop drawings and roll forming output.
We can provide drawings which can be directly used in shops to fabricate panels and ship to site for construction. Note that the more sophisticated requirement the more time consuming to produce coordination model and panel shops. But definitely it will all be worth it when prefabrication advantages are considered.
There is nothing worse than generic BIM language in the contract. It leaves up to the client what level of detail will be required. We will help you clarify generic BIM requirements and ask questions and include qualifications that will eliminate uncertainty and expose you to what could be substantial BIM costs if contractual language is not 100% defined for dry wall scope.

RFramer LLC has been successfully providing Building Information Modeling (BIM) and drafting services for specialty Drywall (metal stud) sub-contractors. The BIM model intern helps Drywall sub-contractors in Coordination, priority wall assessment and time management.
The BIM models provide a clear visual aid on the foreseeable future conditions so that there is no surprise at the construction site and field team can always plan ahead of the schedule
Models created as per design intent can be used to coordinate all stakeholder files for construction. These coordinated models become construction guides for field to know the trade context for each panel. RFramer LLC can cater to the different conditions of coordination and model as per constructability. While modeling RFramer LLC has raised many critical RFIs previously which usually the field PM catches later in the game convenctionally. This helps the framer to play a better key role in coordination. 
RFramer LLC has previous experience of Big Room coordination meetings and understand the need to “claim” the digital space where it matter the most for framing stakeholder.
We have put together a standard keeping this in mind and provide BIM framing models in phases which caters to coodination as the most important aspect of BIM modeling.
Main part of having a BIM model is to create a clash free model with design intent which can be constructed on site without construction issues. RFramer LLC have proficient team who can use different clash detection tools to identify the major problems.
Clash detection tools will natively give thousands of clashes, but modeler need to understand which are critical and others typical. We have an internal standard which can help identify the type or functionality of a certain framing members. This can filter the critical clashes like jamb hits from typical clashes like OC clashes.
We can help the framer to identify them and address these as per the framer standard to raise RFIs.
After identifying relevant clashes between trades and framing, RFramer has a standardized report generation process which will help framer to use during coordination meeting.
We will generate viewpoints for issues requiring attention and further action so that they can be circulated across to help resolve the conflict. Apart from these we also create viewpoints which give an overview of the area.
We can create schedules to extract quantities as per the requirement which can be used for ordering material and cost estimations.
